Discover Your Purpose

This month’s Value of focus is to “Discover Your Purpose”; this is the third of four values from Step One of Growth Track, based around the design and structure of Growth Track as a whole. Growth Track’s three Steps comprise information and tools that assist individuals in progressing further on their journey to know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference. Scripture highlights the value of this progression as we continue to become more like Jesus and embrace a fuller, maturer life in Christ:

 

“Let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity.”

Growth Track is our tool in discovering our purpose, with each of its three Steps having a unique function in this way:

  1. Step One: Join Faith Family
    This is all about getting to know the community and history of Faith Family - in other words, who we are! This Step is where individuals have the opportunity to learn Faith Family’s story and find out how we, as a church, connect to God and each other.

  2. Step Two: Discover Your Design
    This is a structured Step all about learning the details of your personality, learning about individual gifts and abilities that are unique to you, and discovering ways that your design reveals both your indivse in life and your best fit in ministry.

  3. Step Three: Join The Team
    The final Step is about finding out what it means to be a leader at Faith Family - understanding the role of our amazing Serve Team and connecting to the opportunities available to serve others by using your God-given gifts and abilities.

 

We believe that God has equipped every one of us with unique and specific knowledge, gifts, and talents to serve and impact others - all for the sake of reaching more people with the Good News of salvation through Jesus. You are equipped with connection, ability and knowledge that is unique to you; why not learn how to use it to impact others for Christ?
