Bali - Recap of Recent Events & Bali Appeal

During our On Mission series in February, we as a Faith Family took up an offering to send further assistance and aid to our community in Bali, where there had been a natural disaster that had caused the erosion of a large wall near the face of a cliff at Bangli Children’s Home, a children’s home in East Bali. To assist with the necessary repairs, as well as to further help to fund children who have been removed from school due to natural disasters and COVID-19 and to bring relief to those who are vulnerable and in need of food, Faith Family looked to raise a sum of $35,000 AUD.

As a result of your incredible generosity and servitude, we have been able to support our fellow Faith Family community in Bali with over $50,000 AUD!

To ensure that this funding can continue to grow and prosper into further generosity for others around the community and for future members of the community, Faith Family has provided these funds both in response to direct need and in the form of financial support for other ventures, such as:

• Benevolent Fund - Money set aside for times of need for the community. As mentioned, the first project will be a retaining wall behind the Children’s Home in Bangli.

• Microloans for Businesses - An investment of $500 AUD into the entrepreneurs within the church community that, once returned, will go out again to fulfill the same purpose for another entrepreneurial business.

• Food Outreach - Food packages for local churches to outreach into their communities.

Structural repairs have already commenced for the wall at Bangli Children’s Home, we have successfully reached our goal of being able to support 10 microbusinesses, and our Faith Family community in Bali are continuing to reach out to members of their community with food and support; all thanks to your faith and generosity!
