Passing of Pastor Sam Gunsser

Below is an excerpt from an email sent from INC Chairman Pastor Ross Abraham about the passing of Pastor Sam Gunsser:

It is with deep sadness that I advise you of the passing of Pastor Sam Gunsser after a courageous health battle over the past year. Sam and Karolina have been Location Pastors at Citipointe Redcliffe for the past eight years, starting at Citipointe Brisbane as Youth Pastors in 2003. Sam will be deeply missed throughout our INC Movement.

To watch Sam become the great husband, father, and leader from the kid I first met at teenage camps has been a real joy. Sam's honest, straight-shooting attitude never left you guessing where he stood on issues. He and Karolina built an incredible youth ministry and church, but it was what he left in people that made Sam so admired. He saw the hidden potential in people and had a gift to call it out of them. Today, all around the globe, there are individuals who recognise they are who they are because of Sam.

Kathy and I are incredibly grateful for Sam's service to this Movement and the Kingdom of God. Please join us in praying for comfort, peace and strength for Karolina, their children Maja, Layla, Judah and Jesse, his parents Stephen and Riemie and extended family, Citipointe Redcliffe and the entire Citipointe community.
