INC, Education & Brian Millis
Brian, who began his working life as a journalist, was involved with Christian Outreach Centre from the first meeting in 1976. He was instrumental in registering COC as a denomination, the formation of the Constitution. Brian had an early pastoral role in Christian Outreach Centre (now INC), and was behind the TV program “A New Way of Living” which brought the message of Jesus to many Australians. he was also the Principal of our Christian school and later forged the pathway for one of the few Australian Christian tertiary institutions, Christian Heritage College. As a Faith Family, as well as a part of the International Network of Churches, our love and prayers go to Brian’s wife Mary, his two daughters, Sarah and Joanna, and all those close to Brian who will deeply miss him. May God use his example to inspire a new generation of nation changers.
Brian’s commitment to the improvement of quality Christian education in Australia has paved the way for other organizations and schools to be developed across the country:
many SRE programs
Many of our amazing pastors and leaders across Faith Family have either graduated or are currently studying alongside our tertiary colleges! Ps Phil and Ps Matt graduated from Ministry College, Ps Rick graduated with an MBA from CHC, Ps Jake with a Graduate Diploma in Ministry and at the moment Ev, Bri and Tara have been studying through CHC. If you yourself are interested in pursuing further education alongside one of our tertiary colleges, feel free to email legacy@faithfamily.com.au for more information about enrolment.
